Cham Bank puts a smile on faces of children with cancer
A delegation of Cham Bank, the first Islamic bank in Syria, visited children patients with cancer at the Children's Hospital in Damascus.
The delegation headed by Mr. Ahmad Al-Laham CEO of Cham Bank, spoke to the children in their rooms, reassured about their health and gave them toys and gifts to make them feel happy, while praying for their soon recovery, health and wellness.
This was followed by visiting a fine art exhibition with the title “with Art we Draw a Smile” which was launched in support of Basma association for children with cancer in Syria. Artists provided their works for free in benefit of children with cancer.
Mr. Al-Laham emphasized on the need for concerted advocated efforts to the issues and concerns of children with cancers, and to support them financially and morally. Also it was reviewed February program launched by Basma Association in support of Children with cancer, as February is the month of globally awareness about the disease.
