Cham Bank Supports Al-Raja’a Autism Center

Cham Bank has supported Al-Raja association's Autism Center in Dummar, Damascus, to rehabilitate and provide the center's garden with appropriate toys for children suffering from autism.

The toys have been selected to suit the health of children, provide them with entertainment and help them overcome their suffering as much as possible. This step came as a part of many initiatives by Cham Bank to support all members of society and to help charities and humanitarian organizations by playing their role in accordance with the principles and the strategies of Cham Bank to contribute effectively to the community.  As well as advocating and supporting the rights of people with special needs of autism, by highlighting the possibility to participate with their surroundings through activities such as playing and learning.

Mr. Ahmad Al-Laham, Chief Executive Officer of Cham Bank, expressed his admiration and appreciation for the outstanding level of care given to the children in the center and the sincere efforts of those who provide this care to help advance high standards of training and qualification to the children, believing in the importance of the social role of the bank in parallel with its economic role.

Mrs. Wafa’a Satie, Manager of Al-Raja association, thanked the bank and its departments, Mr. Ahmad Al-Laham, and praised the efforts of the bank's and his noble role in lighting hope in the hearts of children and their families.

Finally, it should be noted that in its 2017 plan, Cham Bank highlighted the most important social and developmental issues, stressing the need for actual contribution and participation. Cham Bank had white hands towards children of cancer patients, the elderly; support the poor, development and empowerment of people with special needs and youth empowerment through lectures, workshops and training opportunities.
